ABOUT ME...
I am a Clinical Psychologist with 15 years experience working in the NHS across South Wales. Since completing my doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Cardiff University, I have trained in many different specialist, evidence-based psychological therapies. I have worked across a range of services, including community mental health teams, acute ward settings, and specialist services for people with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder'.

Working privately has enable me to expand on previously loved interests such as neurodiversity and autism; trauma, embodiment & the nervous system; and sex & couples therapy.
I am passionate about helping people find ways to make sense of and manage complicated and distressing thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Throughout my career I have fought to de-stigmatise mental health problems by normalising the human experience through shared understanding, empathy and compassion.
How I can help...
I am trained to understand people across the lifespan. This means understanding how our experiences influence and impact on us as we navigate different life stages: childhood, adolescence, early, middle and late adulthood.

I tend to work with people who have tried previous forms of counselling or therapy but feel that they are still stuck or have persistent or complex, unresolved issues.

Therapy is a shared experience between the therapist and client. Therefore, I believe that whilst the therapist can provide insights alongside an objective and empathetic perspective, the client is the expert on their own experience. Therapy is not something that is done ‘to’ you, it is something that we would work on together.

Depending on your needs, we will agree upon the therapy, or combination of therapies that will work best for you.
